Ayudh, a magician, is visited by the ghost of a friend who has been murdered. His investigation brings him face to face with strange insects from another universe, a dragon hiding in human form, a shady government organisation, and gangsters, lots of gangsters. O’Kari is a god who has given up his god hood and is residing with the humans. He is however called back into the fold when the D.S.I. needs someone to take on the ‘Decay’. So he goes to find his axe, the source of his godhood. But the axe isn’t really something he can just take back, because some sort of ancient force is holding on to the axe. Caught between O’Kari and the ancient force is a village full of demons who just want to live their lives normally. And finally, the two heroes must then combine forces with Shaitan Singh, and every other hero in the Holy Cow universe to fight the Decay, an entity that is inevitable. An entity that will kill all life on earth and throughout the universe and will stop at nothing until its work is finished. How will our heroes fight this force of nature that simply cannot be stopped? Find out in Holy Cow’s 1st crossover event called Operation Decay with a star studded array of artists!

With half the team gone, Ayudh, Shaitan, O’Kari, Brijesh, Faiza, and Romy struggle to close the last mile of their perilous journey – eliminating the Decay. While Ayudh, covered in darkness, fights with strange monsters, Shaitan talks to the being that is the Decay and finds it hard to argue with its logic. O’Kari and Brijesh fight a God and they are simply outclassed by, and finally, Romy and Faiza battle the tooth monsters that are no less intimidating as they were in the previous adventure. And amidst all of this, who will die, who will survive, the ordeal that is the Decay.

Operation Decay volume 5 concludes the epic story that began with Ayudh and tells the tale of sacrifice and heroism and will cause ripples in the Holy Cow universe in the years to come.

The team is at ground zero, and the place is beginning to affect them all. Most of them are depressed and ready to die, some aren’t sure they’ll succeed, but all of them are willing to die fighting.

Meanwhile, Nirek reveals the truth about his past and things don’t exactly go the way they’re supposed to. Ayudh disappears from the group entirely; is it cowardice and has he escaped from the whole ordeal because he couldn’t deal with the situation at hand, or is it some other reason entirely? Elsewhere, O’Kari and Brijesh face a god, and even if it’s two against one, things aren’t looking very good for them. And finally, Shaitan is about to face a threat that will quite possibly destroy the whole universe.
